International Student Program
The school will be a living community where young people, coming from different social and family backgrounds, educate one another by mutual understanding and respect, openness of mind in dialogue, acceptance of the uniqueness and limitations of each, growth in the spirit of service, and the practice of justice and fraternal charity.”
- Declaration, Brothers of the Christian Schools
La Salle High School welcomes students from many international locations. Recent international students at La Salle have come from China, Spain, Germany, Italy, Japan, Mali, Ukraine, Mexico, Egypt, Pakistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Philippines, Turkey, Chile and Peru. Students can choose from short term semester or year-long placements or choose to remain with us through graduation. We are approved through the Department of Homeland Security to accept both F-1 and J-1 Visa students.
Students may apply directly to La Salle or work through an international student placement agency. Applicants must complete the standard application process and show proficiency in English.

Hosting an International Student
La Salle admits students from around the world each year. Students come to study at La Salle for both long and short term stays. Host families are needed in order for this important program to continue each year. For La Salle parents, parent hours are completely fulfilled with this commitment and a monthly stipend is provided through some of our international programs to assist with housing expenses. Families from outside the La Salle community are also welcome to apply to be a host family and may be provided a monthly stipend.
